This is all muffy animals in the family Mina, Micro and Ronja . These beasts are evil to the bone and they dont like us very much. Still they giveth us shelter and sometimes they even seem 2 like our presence. Mostly when we give them food, milk and other delicate stuff i guess. Arrogance is there bloody law.

This is a tough fooker, which remindes me quite a lot about the glory of the old Black Metal scene that flourished in the early 90s. mainly in our little brothers backyard Norway. Shining is one of the few (if not the only) swedish band that can unleash the same fury and angst that for instance Burzum, Mayhem and mighty mighty Darkthrone did at there uttermost peak. Shining has all the right components and all the right black glue 2 tie it all together. And a singer that bleeds and harks like he was not of this world. Our at least he wished he would not be. A thing that really differ Shining from the rest of the ugly pack is that they know that you dont have 2 hammer your way thru a record in 200mph. The harshness does not come from the rough speed nor the most extreme mockery but it comes from the one and probably best instrument that can incorporate and yield Evil; the human mind and body. The highlights are there nearly all along this fourth and, as i have grasped it, last journey. But one particular moment of utter magnificens must be the titel song. Magnificint with its great sampling of Sean Penn from the great movie "The Assassination of Richard Nixon". This is a all thumbs up record.

Anthony o anthony is this/he/they for real or is this a fata morgana; just a remembrance of things past. I must say that this piece of plastic is one odd little smurf. Odd in its peculiar ways of creeping upon you, entangling you and almost feeling like you more or less sit in Anthonys knees. Anthony and the Johnsons is a outfit that incorporate the soft and minimal approaches of regular instruments like drums, bass, cello and the piano with unorthodox angelic singing. Makes me resemble a itsy bitsy about the haunting vocals of the now seemingly defunct slovenien outfit Devil Doll. But where Devil Doll is a entity that uses the horrors of the movies as inspiration Antony and his Johnsons focus more on gutfeeling. The world that Anthony (and the Johnsons) portraits is bleak and longing but still with a warmth oh so ever present. Through the highlights like "You are my Sister" a nice letmeloveyoutodeath ballad with Boy George to the more traditional "Fistful of Love" (with the guest appearence of none other then Lou Reed) this record is , dare i say it, the perfect soundtrack for long cosy nights with your lover. Whom ever that might be. Over and Out.

Texas No-Limit Hold´EM

The crown of all cardplaying games; Texas No-Limit Hold´EM has for some time now mesmerized me. Although i am still a novice i make progress every single day. Or at least i would like 2 believe i do. I still occasionally tilt but these moments do occur more rarely these days.One can say that poker is the venom that runs through my veins: flopps, pocketrockets and straights, jesus all these card of different colour makes my mind goes bubbling with fire and ice. It is quite a nice feeling when you win but it leaves you with a sour and foul taste when you loose. Jesterday i got some really quite nice catches. Today i aint that hot. Maybe tomorrow the cards will come. Or the day after.

McLaren gaining ground

McLaren gaining ground: since the blue Renaults did not manage to score any points at the Hungaroring this weekend the race for the driver championship in Formula 1 between Kimi Räikkonnen and Fernando Alonso goes on.
One thing that really really bugs me is that the flying finn (and his Mclaren Mercedes team) always seem 2 push there engines to hard and get stuck with these awful and terrible meaningless failures. This time it was Juan Pablo Montoya that got his share of unluck. When a driveshaft (it seems always 2 be these driveshafts) broke down at the 41 lap. Hade this not happen it would most probably been a stunning one/two winn for the majestic silver arrows. But then again better Montoya then Kimi if you ask me. But it just buggers me alot.

Discgolf swung

Discgolf; since the weather here in Sweden aint been that great the last couple of weeks i have not been able to be out there at the courses and throwing them discs into the baskets.
This is a picture from last season at the now fully recounstructed Skatås course in Gothenburg. One of my primary goals this season had been to top my game with a ACE and that mission has already been accomplished. I did my first ace at the last hole (9) at my homecourse of Fjärdingsparken, Borås. A roughly 70 m long hole with a slow hyzer angle. The picture shows me throwing my favorite longdrive disc Talon (174 grams of orange z-plastic form Discraft).
